hmm i guess for me just pray about it. If God wants you to go find another church where you will be "comfortable" then go. But then comfort is the last thing God has in mind for christians.
He wanted us to go out of our comfort zone and be faithful.
You can still serve in your church in other things and pray na that "particular" will diminish soon.
If your church is not healthy, then maybe God called you to be in there to contribute.
Maybe they have that mindset cause nobody engaged them in loving conversation.
As long as the core doctrine is right, and the way they worship God is right(and i dont mean the style of music) i don't think you have to leave ur church.
What u should do instead is pray for it.

On the other hand if u really wanna form a band you can do so by forming a band independent of the church. It's ok if you'll recruit fellow christian members with deep walk with God so that intact gihapon mo always sa inyo faith. A band could serve as a great little "cell group".

in another light, if ur influences include alt. country, americana, bluegrass, and traditional honky tonk country with few touches of alternative rock( gin blossoms, augustana, jars of clay, death cab, those kinds of rock), then pm me hehehe
