Im willing to die for my principles and belief..
I stand my ground, dead or alive..

uu oi basta iprove lang niya na cya jud na. like magmagic2x ba cya ron diha ako atubangan, basta kahibaw lang jud ko na cya na, ang ginoo jud na, sure, pero before i kill myself, i'll ask sa why man patyon pa kow? well, i'll ask first, isn't there any other way out? lol... or lingaw2x lang ba kaha na niya na patyon ko? if lingaw2x lang, then basta buhion kog balik woi.
but generally, selfish ko na pagkatao, and i don't want to die for a silly reason (esp kung walay kapalit sa ako life).. sayang pud ako life noh, kung walay hinungdan. If some weird person is going to threaten to kill me if i don't deny my belief, then i'll just say "fine, i deny everything." just to live and get away with it. but deep inside of course, i'll still believe in the same old things.
Very nice answer.
Why die if can live and offer good deeds than dying without nothing to gain for? Well, except you already dead. the question is now, how are those people going to remember you? Would they say, fanaticism or stupidity?
As for me, I choose to live - yes, eventually we all die. I just remember the movie "the last samurai" when tom cruise gave the sword to the emperor and was asked how he died, cruise said... I'll tell how he live...
i would personally choose to live as well, pero i disagree on the fanaticism/stupidity part.
there are actually a great deal of notable people who have died for their beliefs and na-live on ilang memory and napasa ang ilang principles sa tao because of their deaths. Kung kato pa sa Persepolis na graphic novel, “To die a martyr is to inject blood into the veins of society."
Though this may not apply to everyone who died for their beliefs (kay ang uban kalimtan raman), naa say uban na ni-live on jud. Ngita pa ta ko examples pero katulgon naman ko, ugma nalang. wahehe.
EDIT:
Si Jesus Christ diay oi, good example. the hell. how can i miss him? lol. and Rizal! and yes, Ninoy Aquino.
though they didn't necessarily kill themselves, they were courageous enough to stand up for what they believe in even if it meant death.
More examples:
John Lennon? :P - He wasn't afraid of expressing views bisag naay threats of assassination.
Martin Luther King - He believed fervently in passive resistance, and his assassination in 1968, made him a symbol of the struggle for social change.
Hitler? wakeke
