or, you can change your intake fan with an FM123 or FM121 fan..

    bro,

    1. suggest to change the 3 stock fans to higher rpm.
    2. space out the 3 hard disk and not stock them close together so that cool air from the front outside can circulate inside the case. Don't block the air holes on the hard disk tray with cables. Tuck them in on the corner Remember that the front fan is the only fan that is sucking cool air fromthe outside to the inside of the chassis. Opt for the highest RPM fan you can possibly get.
    3. Re orient position of the V8 so that fan is blowing hot air to the rear of the chassis and not to the top.
4 . Acrylic window should be fine and idle temp should be lesser than 50 deg since you're not overclocking and you've got a monster V8 in there

btw, your mobo is dwarfed by the size of the V8 and the spacious interior of the Auroa chassis Nice choice on the Aurora 3D.

dude.. i may not be a expert in overclocking technology. thermal dynamics point of view (feeling engineer :P waaa)

    1. your CPU cooling is a bit big. dako ra kaayu imung heatsink and dili kaayu ka gawas ang init inside sa imung metal. you need to put TWO turbo fan sa imung CPU heatsink para ma push gyud ang init backwards padulung sa imung casing rear fan.

    <----- heat sink <------- (fan)
    <----- <-------

your heatskink and existing fans may be high end but in my estimates it slightly does not commensurate with the huge vacant space sa imung Casing...naaa gihapon hot/warm air nag pundo sa imung vacant space.

    * special thanks to Mr. Tan (USC physics) for teaching me physics

PS----> take FU's advise to change the front intake fans ..... u need a great amount of force to Suck more cold air sa imung casing and to push it more in order para ang cold air maka abot sa rear fan case.

the V8 or any cpu cooler is engineered enough to draw out heat, this is the use of the heat pipes and the fins. The drawn heat from the heatsink will then be sucked by the rear exhaust fans

true but i still have doubts about it when used with a cpu casing. ang ako man gud ki think kay ang ways for that system to achieve a more or less equilibrium nga dili mu init iyang system

kuan man gud... mu ra ug nag assemble ug "custom made car like sa toofast too furious" against a "designer sports car" which was engineered from every part to achieve optimum performace without.

its a trial and error process when assembling which parts commensurates with the set up...

    peace

so unsay example sa 'designer sports car' nga casing?

like a HP blackbird or a dell xps 720 .... those machine were designed that all parts proc, mobo, casing mu run stable.

what i mean is that in making a custom made pc. we have to plan it out. not just putting anything high end. i consider sad nato ang relationship between the pc parts.

Just make sure to have more intake air bro and nice exhaust fan. you'll be fine, its not Oced, theres nothing to worry. Install your heatsink properly, seems not in proper position. Airflow should be going to the back, not going to the front or sides. You have a nice casing there, bigger is better, in my opinion. i hope it doesnt weight a lot, coz thats what i consider most, coz it will be hard to move it to another location otherwise.

@Fern: ang position lang ang sayop sa TS. all he needs to do is rotate the cooler so that the cooler fan would be aligned to the rear exhaust fan. na vacuum effect lang na for now kay sayop pagkataud. the heatsink size has nothing to do with the heat problem.

SAKTO ka dude... ang hangin sa iyang heatsink padulung sa VC... mao diay nang ni stack up ang init nga hangin. COOL
