the thing lang with texting is:

-as many people have already mentioned, its easy to lie
-you can't really tell how the person really feels because you can't see his or her reactions be it a smile, body language or the eyes..
-it would be hard to tell if a person really is serious with you, especially when distance is a factor between the textmates
-if it's a girl you are texting how sure are you? same if you think it's a guy
