GOD is a subjective experience my friend not so much on the objective. If I experience GOODNESS then that is GOD for me and for others too. What is the ESSENCE of GOODNESS if not GOD? See?
Why do you say OH GOD with your partner? when in fact you can say OH SHIT? See? GOD as an experience is very reasonable and very practical.

GOD is both the microcosm (Subjective experience) and the MACROCOSM (Supreme or transcendent ).
Atheism can deny the SUPREME but can never deny the SUBJECTIVE Experience according to one philosopher!
