I did a day out Photo walk in Melbourne City and testing my acquired Nikon 80-200mm f2.8

Here are some snap shots.

question lang, does the kilo worth of weight a hassle? specially kung hand held lang sya?

At first the weight was a bit of a hassle but the results it makes compared to my 18-200mm VR before is worth it.

im really leaning towards this model compared sa 70-300mm VR...

Yes, I shot this handheld lang walay mono kay wala pa ko kapalit ug mono at that time.
Shooting F2.8 @ 1/3000 sec i think you don't need any VR kay outdoors man and the light is quite good at time. If you will be shooting indoors the VR will be a great help.

I used a D300, mao pod naka advantage kay very intuitive 3D tracking feature of the cam to shoot moving subjects.
