Me and my wife tried to start a Tutorial and daycare center. But due to the lack of time and my wife going to the US we failed in the
business.
But somehow I see great potential for this one.
I'm posting it here anyway so even if you are potential competitors i don't mind telling you about it. Moreover, i believe more in cooperation than in competition! hehe
Buy & Sell Section --> Specialty Services --> KIDS' Daycare & After-school Center
Please feel free to post your comments there. thanks, folks!![]()
@ms beau: thanks for posting ur link here. i agree with u about cooperation than engaging into competition.
that's y i appreciate those people who have open minds in sharing their thoughts here as it might be of help to other people also. it's either because none of us here are real businessman, or any businessman here would be of great help to the others.
thank you and God bless!
is there anyone here actually interested in putting up a pre-school?
Yeah I do.. I think it is a promising business.. not only a pre-school but a Korean school.. you see a lot of Koreans are flocking in Cebu just to study majority in English subjects and business.. anyway, there are a lot of good business ideas like this but the thing is we need to think about the source of funds. I want to try and present a business plan to a banker or any investor.. @labyrinthbw, we can start if you want hehe![]()
@rance
OT: it's you again...nice to see you here..
sure..why not? let's see first if it's feasible hehehe...
@evangereth: would you mind if i ask for a copy of the feasiblity study?Originally Posted by evangareth
@ms.beau: thats a great idea. we dont have to be competitors here. to succeed we need help and cooperation.
@rance: yeah alot of koreans are flying in lately.nice market also.
that is it--an esl academy. this is lucrative and has a big market. it's about time filipinos step up to become esl academy owners and not just teachers and dummy-operators. when it comes to manpower walay problema--capable teachers abound (by korean standards). management, this is something doable. materials, these abound too but the good ones are sold in south korea. marketing, this is something very critical--would be good to partner up with an agency. finances, well this is that which we really need to look for and has to be big if a dormitory is considered.
i posted a thread before about online esl business but got no interested parties. well whether online or non-online, esl training is definitely a good business idea these days.
to those who might prefer this type of business to a preschool business, i can also help. i have background in esl, toeic, and business english teaching. and i am so eager to find a very willing soon-to-be owner of an esl academy. mo tabang jud ko people maski on consultation basis. this is a matter of national pride for me and frustration over the lack of business-minded teachers. look, the opportunity is right before our very eyes!
sige make yourselves known so we can start helping one another. let's keep the entrepreneurial fire burning!
Yeah and you heard it from me first in this thread please copyright that hehe.
Sure, why don't we set a meeting and brainstorm? anyone can just fly to Cebu and we'll have lunch or dinner together and talk about this crazy stuff.. how's that?
