yup, sony has stopped making this product already but as what my friend told me in the united states... there are still lots of company of who has a lot of stocks for 60gb. the reason for this is that American always go for the new releases... eventhough they don't know wants the difference between the 2 units... i have read a lot of posts... 60gb is better.

the warranty for this unit is covered by sony entertainment. so basically, you can bring this one to any Sony repair centers, the famour repair center is the one located in Osmeņa Blvd. (kanang dapit sa PLDT man cguro na.)

Last time I checked with sony service center diri sa cebu DILI sila mo fix ug PS3 units since wala pamay official stocks from them and they will ONLY fix units sad that came from them officially and not user-imported.. So please double check before ka mo claim nga mo fix sila diri.
