Thanks sa reply. I guess gamay ra man cguro ang kamao sa PowerBuilder diri sa Cebu.

Naa ko'y question about sa PowerBuilder pero dili about sa coding...

1. Asa ta maka-study ana?
2. Naa na'y free edition. Where we can code and run the our program?
3. Ang iyang learning curve. Dali ra ba kaha na makat-onan like VB .net?
4. Maka-access na sa mga Java libraries? Like Java and C++ using JNI.

I hope someone will answer this.

1. you can study PB at PowerPro diha sa Mango Ave. front sa Jollibee mango...

2. i think maka-download ka ug 30 days trial sa www.sybase.com

3. Way back 2002 pag-start nako ug study ug PB kai nag-lisod ko gamay especially sa DATAWINDOW and DATASTORE... pero as the time pass by... nindot kaayo kai ma-appreciate jud nimo ug maayo ang gamit ani nga mga object...

4. Yes... maka-access ni siya ug Java libraries, DLL and other external functions...

Gamay ra ang kabalo PB diri sa cebu...

pero i think ang San Jose sauna kai PowerBuilder man kasagaran gamit sa ilang thesis... mao man ni gamit sa akong elder bro sauna... please correct me if im wrong....

ang PB sad diay naa sad kaugalingon nga foundation class called PowerBuilder Foundation Class or PFC...

compared sa MFC mas nindot ang PFC kai dili kuti gamiton...

^^^ Thanks kaau popeye137. Sa college pa ko daghan man gud ang mg-sulti nga nindot daw ang PowerBuilder. Correct me if I'm wrong. Paspas daw ang development. Mao kuno na'y tinood nga RAD. Once ma-buhat na nimo ang framework dali ra extend para sa lain nga application. Plus usa ra ang vendor sa ng-buhat sa IDE. Unlike sa Java nga naay Eclipse, NetBeans, JDeveloper, JBuilder and etc. If mo-transfer sa lain compnay same ra ang IDE.

paspas kaayo ang developnment especially if nindot pag-kahimo ang framework...
