jardine has learned his lesson in the wandy fight that going toe2toe with your opponents can finish you in seconds and he learned it the hard way... so i dont think he will do the same mistake again against vera. this will be a tactical fight!

Brandon Vera vows to bring back "The Truth" vs Keith Jardine
After a series of disappointing performances, Filipino-American Brandon Vera plans to bring back “The Truth” this coming Saturday (Sunday in Manila) when he collides with Keith “The Dean of Mean” Jardine at Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 89 in England.
Vera (9-2) said it will be all “business” when he meets Jardine (13-5-1) at the light heavyweight division (205 pounds). The Fil-Am said he knows his opponent will be ready for him when they step in the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham.
“I know he’s going to come out and try and push the pace. I know he thinks that I am going to be out of shape and he’ll want to break my cardio before the second round. I know all that for sure. But he’s going to find out something different,” he told UFC.com’s Chuck Mindenhall.
