just cuz he can pass good doesnt mean he is an NBA-lock for first pick. defenses are just going to play the passing lanes and make him shoot the ball. and he needs to definitely bulk up, the current 'wave' of interest of general managers is to find those big, strong point guards. just being a good open court player doesnt translate to NBA-success.
but if he is projected to be a lottery pick he should go for it. that window of opportunity can close pretty fast in life and ya never know when a serious knee injury might pop up. with the kind of money these teams are tossing around nowadays, playing the "waiting" game shouldnt be an option in my opinion.
