you know, if they intend to smuggle LOCALLY stolen cars, they better do it right. you need equipment for that in order to avoid getting in trouble with the authorities and without getting blamed for something you didn't do. look up the old Top Gear episodes that date back to 1980s. they teach you how to outsmart a car salesman selling fakes. you can do what the faker did but be more creative and learn to zigzag around the local laws.=D

well, ang pangutana, did Tomas, Rama, Garcia, or Gullas have hot cars in their possession in the first place?

Sometimes Soon-Ruiz' BMW case could be construed as politically motivated ky dakong politika man cya. di man gyud na mawa nga impression. That's hearsay lang, not fact.

I don't know well about Osmena, Rama and Gullas but i know well the Garcias sa side ni Sonny Jr.. They don't have 2nd hand cars. all of them were purchased new. In fact, they were the first owners of the Isuzu Alterra here in Cebu when it was first introduced in the local market. Sadly gibangga lang ug gidaro 3 vehicles parked in Nivel sa ilang youngest son. I think murag naayo na ni. They also have the new Toyota Hi-ace (the boxy, big one)

AFAIK, na network na ni (almost tanan) ilaha computer system. That's already a big improvement unlike before. Cebu City and Mandaue for example can nows access central Manila LTO database for records and other transactions. (unless kung ma-offline panagsa).

and their SM office is another one "improvement".(I just hope naa pud nya sa Ayala...hehe)

next will be the convenience of getting ur CTPL from the same LTO office where u also renew ur car's registration. Ug mas barato pa kaysa mga private ug kild2x. Wala pa gyuy risk of getting bogus insurance.

and all these are not sugar-coating...

Fixers will be always there if people still "want" their services. I repeat "WANT", dili "need".

As for me, akoa ra man cla balibaran. Ky ngano dili ko kabalo mo fill up ug MVIR form? Ky ngano dili ko kabalo mokuha ug CTPL? ky ngano dili ko kamao mangihi for drug test? hehe

Its not answerable with a NO but never know .

We can just all come up with crazy theories but again we'll never know , dili man pod pwedi tanan politiko ma issue sa HOTCARS kay ma klaro that it is motivated though again its just a wild theory .

I am not that accuarte about the GARCIA'S but when we say ALTERRA and HI-ACE , even the middle class can afford that , its not someting to brag about that makes us drool so being a new or used is not the issue . Again we'll never know but its not only about HOTCARS bai pero OT na hehe .

I do hope so . Pero kung pamasin man gani na sugar coating tuod , heck I really could care for less since it gives convenience to the public who has business with the LTO .

AKo point lang bai is not the WANT or NEED but they ( LTO ) themselves with get rid of these guys , eliminate them , dissolve them and make them vanish . Why ? It contradicts the so called IMPROVEMENTS because these FIXERS doesnt utilized the new system , mo sulod na sila sa opisina ni GADOR if in Cebu City and Boholst in Mandaue City and the magic begins . SO what is the point of the new system when the pr actice of BRIBERY is still rampant evident with the FIXERS ?
