Then go for the Altis, Mark! Pero at these times of crisis, diesel would be the way to go! How I wish European Diesel cars would make it here. There is the Ford Focus TDI but there is going to be a new model soon.

You are right. Pakong rako perme. Grabe ka higda iyang Windshield, has a high beltline and very low roofline, then taas ug lobot and Civic, so because of those proportions it made me feel like driving a 2 door sports car , but I really like the Civic just because of it. (Imagine nalang ko nga naka Honda NSX ko or something). maybe it's just me. nyahaha. and yes, grabe ka gahi ang ride sa Honda especially when you change to 18-19-inch rims. Maka gisi ug lobot.

If it's a reliable and conventional sedan that you want, then Toyota is the best choice jud.

btw, the seatbelt alarm is super annoying on the lancer and altis. i ordered mine with the seatbelt alarm turned off hehehe!

I think no matter how nice the altis is. Its gonna be used as a taxi. Mahal kaayo ang car and taparan ra ka the same altis pero use as a taxi. Sakit ato dughan ana bai. For my opinion, I think Honda Civic is the wiser choice.

One more: Even Taxi models use 1.6 altis, the body is still the same.

just coz taxi will eventually use it (maybe in a year or so) that makes it less of a wise choice? how come?
the fact that taxi's prefer toyota spells out one thing, reliability and durability.

well opinion rapud ni nako but reliability, durability, minimal long term maintenance, fuel efficiency plus comfort driving is the wiser choice. at least di magisi akong lubot ug akong bulsa in the short run and long run hahahaha plus di pa gyud sigi pakong ako ulo. no concussion. no bukol. thats the wiser choice for me

besides i got the 1.8V dark grey (not the white one)...have you seen it with all its addon...far from the lowend model. ako maski tuparan akong corolla ug corolla taxi...wa man koy paki hehehe love your own gyapon hehehe!

ey even bmw and benz in other countries are used as taxi...thats coz they are reliable and durable and comfortable to ride...

i asked them bout that...answer nila, ana lang gyud na...wala sila ana na feature.
nagdaginot butang circuit for auto up...tsk tsk.

actually the only thing i can think off is that if you stick out your hand or neck and pull the auto window up with your other hand to intentionally injure yourself!? (unless you let kids play in the driver seat) seriously its more likely malugpitan ang tudlo/kamot sa pultahan kaysa sa window coz the switch is only accessible to the driver and the hand that usually goes out to reach is also the same hand that activates the switch. besides that, mitsu already uses the lever type switch as what toyata and honda uses instead of the BANNED in the US rocker/toggle type so accidental activation is highly unlikely.

and if they are truly afraid of the potential self inflicting hazard of the auto close window, they can always put a tension limiter or some sort of sensor that prevents that from ever happening. in the US they call it autoreverse sensors on power windows which is now a requirement if im not mistaken.
