To me, all kitchens are dirty. But their dirtiness is relative to each other. Some are dirtier from the other. However, no amount of cleaning effort, including the use of insecticides can totally eliminate them. Perhaps, one can minimize them, but these vermins, rodents and other crawling insects are just lurking from crevices and cracks around the kitchen. Eggs can hatch anytime after being laid.
They even hide under the cover of grease traps and inside the drainage systems!
Some pests are brought into our kitchens by way of vegetables or fruits purchased from our suki, soft drink cases, etc.
We can always enhance cleanliness by practicing good hygiene, regular general cleaning and pest control, proper disposal of leftovers, etc.
