had our Mandarin Idol contest this afternoon! It was nerve wracking for the contestants but they had fun anyway.
goal achieved: spurred students' participation and motivation in learning chinese
everyone's looking forward to an end-of-the-year Mandarin Idol contest. it will be a group presentation with unrehearsed lines.
