imho, if your building a system not needed multi-core intensive (quads) applications like photoshop or video encoding/decoding softwares.

Buy a Core2Duo 8500/7200

both are oc'able to 4ghz (at least)

then for the mobo pwede na p35 or a x38.

For the hdd pwede di mo na i-raid0 just buy diretso higher capacity disk sayang pa sata port mo using 2 lower capacity hdds.

For the vc's single cards will be sufficient for you later on. Nvidia will lower their prices soon due to the price cuts of the 48xx series.
