just a thought... analog gears are renowned to be better sounding than digital gears... most especially that digital are patterned from analog gadgets, hence the word "simulation"... and when we say better sounding i meant "fatter" sound produced... of course it also depends on how a gear is made... how folks deal with the signal coming from an instrument and how it is being manipulated....
