    I have HEC 550W with my old rig, Its almost 3 years now and it don't give me a problem at all. It's not that efficient compare to other branded psu, but still its worth.
    dugay na d.i ni ang HEC 550w sa market? awts.... huhuhu. T_T. just hope dili ni moboto ako PC.. kuyawan ko da. T_T

    Make sure you configure your bios right and also, raid has its own menu. Make sure to configure it right also, otherwise you cant make it work. But nothing bad will happen to your rig, just configure it right and it will be fine. My old (2x80Gb sata II) and new (2x500Gb sataII) rig are both in Raid 0, and it doesn't give me a problem. Just make sure to backup your important files, coz if one of your drive fails, there is no chance you can recover your files.
    Hehe. i now know how to install RAID. nag read mn ko sa manual sako MoBo. hehe. sakita sad anang ma guba ang isa ka HDD oi. wagtang tanan files.... T_T. dili sad kaha na dali ma guba ang RAID setup?

    and then, i don't have a floppy drive sa akong PC. how do i install the drivers for RAID when i install my Windows XP Home. Kay diba need nimo ug RAID driver para makit.an sa windows installer and RAID drive nimo?

    Don't worry, your 90%+ safe with HEC. There's no such thing as 100% safe with power failure.

    Since your on Windows XP, then you should have a FD to install the Raid driver. Mostly of new Mobo nowadays doesn't have an internal FD, if that's your case. Then you need an external USB FD.

    But, if your going to use Windows Vista, you don't need the FD. Vista will provide a generic driver for your Raid Drive during installation. But you should install your Raid driver from the Mobo manufacturer or better download the latest drivers of your Mobo from your Mobo manufacturer.

    Gud luck with your installation, I'm sure it will be fine.

    @icecube
    yey. at least 90% confident nako sako HEC PSU. i'll be getting my PSU today para ma completo na nako ako set.

    and about the windows xp installation, i've found a solution without using FD. damn i really hate FLOPPY DRIVES!!

    and also, imy CPU is a Q6600. is it ok if i use the included heatsink with fan? and do i need to use BRANDED thermal paste/grease and Coolers?

    You will be fine with the HSF included in the box with your C2Q6600. Not necessary, unless you want to overclock to as high as 3.6Ghz.
