Don't you know that Jesus was NOT A CHRISTIAN or ROMAN CATHOLIC when he was here 2000 yrs ago? Jesus practiced Judaism and in fact prayed and went to the synagogues and temples.

Sir rcruman, Jesus was born with hebrew parents who happened to be practicing Judaism. Yes he was persecuted and executed by the same religion because it was against their law of Judaism to practice outside their beliefs. He was not the first Christian if you argue on this because Christianity was built after he died. It was his disciples collaborated to spread the good news according to Jesus Christ. So, then Christianity was born. It doesn't mean He was the first Christian because His name is Christ (jesus Christ) but He was the better foundation of creating Christianity. God bless sir.

You don't get it bro. PLEASE READ MY POST WELL before you jump off to other issues/topic. I never said about who crucified Jesus because any Tom, Dick and Harry know that the Jews crucified Jesus (for his being critical to the practices of Judaism and many of their priests).

I ONLY said that Jesus WAS practicing Judaism. This is an INCONTROVERTIBLE FACT you see in the Bible - unless you have another of Soriano's interpretations - that's another story.

And by the way YOU ARE WRONG that Jesus "is the first Christian." You don't even see that in the Bible. Jesus WAS/IS "The Christ. (Matt 16:16)" but was never a Christian as you said it. The terms Christ and Christian DO NOT MEAN THE SAME THING. The term Christ refers to " the Messiah" or "the Anointed One" while the term "Christian" refers to a believer of Jesus as the Christ or Messiah.

The "first Christians" were the Apostles or to many Catholics, Mary was said to be the first Christian (thru her acceptance of Christ in The Annunciation).

If you read your Bible well, the first clear or accepted usage of the term Christian is in Acts 11:26 "And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch." (KJV).

Suggest you PLEASE define PROPERLY your terms.
