So ethics doesnt conform with the Definition of Atheism - Concept of Atheism believe that Ethics or guidelines how to determine Good and Bad is relative and is purely Based on individuals own thinking. So if ethics involves Collective study of People or Culture therefore it is Not Relatives to each individual thinking thus is Not related to the concept of Atheism.

Atheism = Sakto ni ako gibuhat kay mao may ako nahuna hunaan, mao ni nigawas sa akong paghuna huna ug ako ra jud nag formulate ani based sa ako utok.

Pero if mu ingun ka, sakto ni ako gibuhat kay mao ni ingun sa BALAOD sa akong nasud, mao ni naa sa law sa Govt, mao ni ginasunod sa Uban THEN its no longer under the true essence and meaning of Atheism.

If imung guideline sa mOrality na influence or gi base sa guideline sa uban ug dili ikaw nag formulate - DILI ka matawag nga tinuod nga Atheist...

Quit all the brouhaha about atheists lacking any morality.

It's really quite simple---just look around you. Read the fricking news. Who are the ones populating our prisons? Who are the ones killing doctors and burning abortion clinics? Who are the ones perpetrating hate crimes against homosexuals? Who are the ones keeping mum on the abuse of innocent children?

When was the last time you've heard of someone committing a crime in the name of atheism?

I'm glad the TS is making threads like this. It's a wake up call for Filipinos. Stop living a life of lies pretending nothing is wrong. Perhaps it is now time for the average Pinoy to open his/her eyes to reality.

be glad now, we all have different beliefs. Just don't force others to believe you though, and don't even think that you are right. You might wake up someday in regrets. Respect other people's beliefs coz I don't think you are that of an influence to them, just live the life you wanna live. We don't know you might influence them, right? I don't have anything against athiests, just be open-minded also.

On the contrary, I'm not here to influence others. I ain't going around telling people they should convert now or else face the consequences. I don't tell people to do this so you can have this, or don't this and you won't have that like they're little children. I encourage people to ask themselves the right questions.

actually, para naku, i don't really know what is ahead but what you do today is what you will reap tomorrow so if you are doing the right thing then you are walking on the right path
