Default THERE'S GOOD TO THE EVIL OF VIGILANTISM: WHAT'S YOUR TAKE?

Human rights here and human rights there . Ang vigilaqntes naay due process of law , KALIBRE .45... at least effective and with results .

those who order and perpetrate these killings obviously think that there is nothing wrong with terminating these criminals with extreme prejudice.. they probably think they are doing society a favor because they are getting rid of these criminals, they are defending society from evil people.. they believe that the elimination of these criminals is a deterrent to crime.. thus, they act as prosecutor, judge and executioner – carrying out capital punishment.. it is pretty evident that there are many ordinary citizens who think the same way.. that is why there is very little public outcry and i myself share the same sentiments..

however, in spite of good intentions, we can't deny the fact that the means used is not only illegal, it is also immoral.. the end does not justify the means.. we cannot achieve a good end with evil means.. it is not right to fight crime by committing a crime.. by all means, let those in authority should go after the criminals, bring them to justice and punish them appropriately.. but they should use means that are legally and morally right.. they should not become what they abhor..

there is no need to become criminals in the fight against criminals..

but there's one good that this evil brings.
if it helps eliminate one criminal evil,
it helps society to have one evil less in its midst.

its now evil fighting against another evil.
and in the clash of demons, a demon is sure to fall.
and society sure to have a lesser number of their kind.

is the clash between evil and evil, in itself, morally good?
so, suporta na lang ta sa vigilante killings dinhi karon, o dili?
nah, nah, nah,....it's evil...and their's no good on evil..toink..heheheh..honestly mas oki na na..at least makuha kuhaan ang palamyunon sa kalibutan..toink..pagkaimmoral..btaw...it's really againts our law to kill people without prosecuting justice first...la ta kahibalo basin dili diay to kriminal tong ilang gipatay...but cant blame tito osmeña for implementin' asuch gross action...graveeehhh naman sad jud au ang krimen dri sa cebu..labi na tong mga journalist nga gfatay..but f we'll be talkin' of equality then...la jud tay equality nga makuha ana..coz eventhough they are criminals they still deserve proper prosecution of justice..makalagot kaayo no? labi nag ikaw ang mahingtungdan sa biktima...pero mao man jud na siyay balaud..dili na na nato matuis...f we love peace and order we must become law abiding citizens...vigilante groups actions are not assurance nga mahunong na ang grabeng krimen sa atong lugar...ang kinahanglang buhaton sa atong lokal nga kapulisan mao ang pagpalig on pa sa ilang pwersa..nga they must be true to their service..ngano lagi ang mga fbi...ngano lagi nga mahunt man jud nila ang mga kriminal?...all our police needs are more proper trainings, discipline, and correct attitude at work...dli kay mag cge lang ug katulog..paduko sa tiyan...mao raman jud nay kuwang cguro ba...true service lang jud gkan sa gobyerno para sa mga tawo...amvot lang...if only government officials are selfless enough...if they are only true to their pledges and promises..hahahay..this country would be a better place to live jud unta..la untay daghang mangabrod..toink..hehehe..dri nalang ko kutob oi,,na ot naman ko..heheheh..LipoSUCKZZ!!!!!pax pipzzz!!

I have to agree with giver_bert. God's law says respect the law of the land. If we talk about morality in the Philippines considerng we are a Christian country, the majority are supposed to condemn these acts. But I know justice in our country is very frustrating. I guess, when one of these vigilantes kill all corrupt government officials, heh, tanan gyud corrupt, then they will win my respect.

laws evolve. law back in the days would require all crime suspects to jump in a river full of crocodiles, or let them submerge their hands in a bowl full of ants or some such thing and whosoever emerge the more hurt is made the criminal (that is if they can still emerge alive). it was absurd but it worked for them. but all that has changed. laws evolve because the law preceding it no longer works. maybe that is why vigilantism is born. in that case, vigilants are not the only ones to blame. their deed is evil, but what is more evil is what has made them. and that is our law - wavering.

but in hating people who hate, you become one of them. and in killing people who kill, you become one of them. so that the number grows. and hope in the few remaining, wavers.

with the looks of it.. don't you think we're somehow backtracking instead to evolving?
