I think I experienced blood lust and over did it. Some paint runs here and there but I guess in this case, it's a bit okay since Gen. Rommel is in the desert and it's dirty there (excuse).

I'll be hand brushing this after I finish my last 28mm Empire State Handgunner. I tried to AB that one too but the problem is that it's already gray and lisod makita kung nacover ba dyud pintal or dili.

aguy, testingan dayon da. imho, you did a good job with your first ab session. if there are any paint runs as you declared, probably they are very minor. just remember, "it is better to have 3-4 thin passes than 1 thick pass". i am happy that feldmarschall rommel got the first taste of your ab/compy combo as he is an icon to military history and scale modelling world. i just hope though that you are using tamiya acrylics coz that guy is choosy as stated in the back cover of fine scale modeler magazine may 2002 issue.

Actually ok na baya 3rd thin pass pero ako gisuwayan unsa mahitabo kung duol sa 4th. Never again will I basecoat from 1 inch away, he he.

Funny ad. I'll use Citadel on him tutal rough naman ang Flat Field Gray so I think mupilit ra Citadel Paint.

German Brummbar Mid production WIP Stage 1 - Basecoat with Flat Dark Yellow

    The easiest part is done.

Now, I have to research how to accurately represent this tank. I can no longer rely on my imagination for this as this is based on a real tank in World War 2.

And, ha ha, I found from teoding after I basedcoated it that the mid-production model used Zimmerit armor.

This means that I should have applied putty on most of the surface and created the texture to simulate Zimmerit armor. And most photos of this unit also show some Zimmerit plates along the tank tracks to prevent mines and adhesive based bombs from sticking.

Later na lang guro ni kay advanced modding ni. Patudlo pa ko ninyo unsaon pag cut styrene.

German Brummbar Mid production WIP Stage 2 - Gloss coated para dali decal and wash later

I read that instead of lacquer based gloss coats, one can actually use pledge Wipe & Shine. However, dili magsinabot si Mr. Mark Softer ug Pledge T_T I should have tested it on the underside first.

I don't know what's next after this. Possibly panel lining with wash. I wonder whether I should just slop it all over or meticulously go over each recess (shudder).

Any tips guys on what's next after this? Kanang pang noob lang sa ha. This is my first realistic armor kit.
