actually nagplano man unta ko magdala og camera, i just forgot.... hehehe.... first ever discussion pa man unta to.

anyway, i had a great time, too. although i felt i did a terrible job with being a facilitator... sige lang, charge to experience.

@rodsky: i thought the same thing, what a perfect backdrop the books were in our discussion. it was really nice, the ambiance and all. however, the noise from the other customers sometimes went a bit too much.

yehey, finally we're done with 'i am legend'. i'll never forget that book. haha. i'm really looking forward to the next book and the next discussion. yup, throw in some challenging read folks. sige volunteer namo. ikaw na lang ms beau, or darbs, or euler, or rodion, or wsraxe, or mastersun, or anyone hehehe...

^oist let's not be too serious with the roles and all. the committee is not looking for good hosts, facilitators, or secretaries. just willing ones..those who want to try some organizing thingy

so i see these opportunities for anyone reading this thread:

1. as a book-of-the-month reader
2. as a book discussion participant
3. as a committee member

let the club serve your "wants". if you want to read something new every month, then be 1. if, after reading the book, you want to share thoughts and questions with a group, then be 2. if you want to experience a bit of organizing and leading, then be 3.

it's all about exploring...trying out new things...like...

being a children's storyteller. kay ni volunteer man ko as one sa rizal memorial library. katong ganahan mo sulay ani nga experience, dont hesitate to inform me. okies...pm dayun
