not sure about quality sa frequency but human ears are most sensitive to high frequencies and less sensitive to low. when you listen to low frequencies (2-4000hz) at more than 90db for a prolonged period, it becomes damaging. since our ears are less sensitive to the lows we sometimes neglect this issue, especially when majority of casual listeners prefer the "bassy" low frequencies. to be thumping their heads

IEMs or In ears are less likely to cause hearing damage since they provide isolation better than earbuds and you wont need to ramp up the volume especially outdoors.

anyone here tried pairing a CM Flare with and a Fiio E17 or Fiio E07K?

technically it should work, since e17/e07k has their own independent DAC it your music will sound better.

i mean, thru USB OTG (to pair with a DAC)? not thru 3.5mm jack on the smartphone side. not double amping.
