imagine having a poker face in a poker game. GMA is preparing her political moves. she is waiting for the opposition to make a mistake and a reason for her to get out of this and turn this back to the oppostion. once her cards are in place the oppostion's jaw will be left hanging and they don't know what hit them just like in the past.

This issue will die a natural death. Just like the time when she said she is no longer running for president but she did and as far as we all know, she won. Worst case scenario, she will be silent through time and will try doubly hard and continue to turn our economy around so that the public will notice and forget this so called "scandal". GMA too will have her share of good propaganda to the public. In short, pa-pogi points in the hopes of winning her popularity back. A proven maneuver with Filipinos.

Eitherway, mang gahi lang gihapon ang opposition. Picture GMA in the shower watching the early morning news cheering, "MANIGAS KAYO SA INGGIT!"

lytspr is treating the whole thing as if like a game of poker. She is hoping that this issue will die down. Ha ha ha ha ha. GMA is dreaming, its just burying her head in the sand. When her head goes out, this scandal is still there. This scandal is Gloria's nightmare. It will never die.

The whole world is watching. Investors are afraid to invest. What with a COLURUM President sitting in Malacanang.

Turning the economy I doubt if she can do it. Thats easier said than done. She was not even able to turn the economy before, how much more now when people lose faith in her. She wants us to "bribe" with economic development? Ha ha ha ha ha. She will have to turn the Philippines into a Japan overnight before the people will "buy" her back.

More than a week after her very own spokesman admitted to the existence of an "original" tape featuring no less than the Chief Executive herself, President Arroyo has not said a word about these tapes. Her latest ploy is defiant (I will not dignify these tapes) which not only shows a lack of sensitivity to the public pulse and even her own Cabinet’s standing but, worse, a lack of remorse for the troubles that this saga has inflicted on the nation and our democratic processes.

A sampling of the revealing conversation involves the questioned Lanao del Sur and Basilan results follows:

Female (believed to be GMA) : Hello, tungkol dun sa Lanao del Sur at Basilan, di raw nagma match ang SOV sa COC

Male (Gary/Garci) : Ang sinasabi niya, nawawala na naman ho.

GMA L Hindi nag-mamatch.

Gary/Garci: Hindi nag-mamatch? May posibilidad na hindi mag-match kung hindi nila sinunod yong individual SOV ng mga munisipyo. Pero aywan ko lang ho kung sa atin pabor o hindi. Dun naman ho sa Basilan at Lanao del Sur, ito ho yung ginawang pagpapataas sa inyo maayos naman ho ang pagkagawa, eh.

The talk detailed that Gary/Garci even had to admit the completed effort to increase GMA’s votes in these two provinces. Results show that indeed her votes were indeed increased. The results from these two provinces were protested during the national canvass and are supposed to be part of the identified areas for revision at the PET.
