Why anime should be BANNED

1. Because it spreads immorality disguised as "culture trends", "art", and "fads"
2. Because it promotes atheism and makes no acknowledgement of God
3. Because the stories promote violence and immorality a lot, proving to be a threat to Filipino culture and values that are based on Christianity
4. Because they make children violent, impulsive and go homosexual
5. Because they stop people from going to church, reading the Bible and worst of all, it stops them from praying to God

Anime should be banned. This way, Filipino life and culture will be preserved, and Cebu's way of life will benefit from the moral cleansing.

Seriously, it depends on the person inclined to the stuff he/she's watching. Dili raman sad ikaw ang ganahan ma-preserve ang atong kultura. It's just that naa na ta sa modern times. Dili na mapugngan ang mga in-ani na cases.

And I think biktima ni si TS sa gitawag nga Cyber-Bullying. Ngano ibutang man pud niya iyang pic nga kahibaw man siyang delikado siya kung makit-an siya sa mga anime enthusiasts?

you see ts, sa akong above statement pa lang, there is such thing as RL. As in REAL LIFE. and that, my dear ts, is separate from the fantasy that we call anime. IT'S CALLED IMAGINATION.

DON'T BE SUCH A CLOSE-MINDED PERSON, TS. As we have said multiple times, there are many aspects in anime. Your arguments show that you only know VERY LITTLE ABOUT IT and are too focused on things like violence, homosexuality and immorality. What about the aspects of defending what you believe in (i.e. Naruto's way of Ninja)? What about protecting and believing in your friends (recurring theme in Naruto, One Piece, BLEACH, etc)? What about striving to be the best (Prince of Tennis and other sports anime, etc)? What about appreciating the inside beauty of a person rather than the outside (Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge aka The Wallflower)? I can go on and on and on and on about the good points of anime. This does not mean though that I do not see the bad points in it. I am not saying you should overlook these things. I am saying that you look at the whole picture, not just one part of it.

Did you even know that a lot of classical books have been made into manga and anime for studying? In fact, some Japanese students prefer reading these manga versions of books (both classical Japanese books like Genji Monogatari and Western books like A Little Princess, etc) because they are easier to read than the usual text. Have you read comic versions of Ibong Adarna, Florante at Laura, Noli and El Fili?

And TS, why are you bringing religion into the picture? There is such thing as separation of church and state. And there is also such thing as the freedom to choose religion. The Philippines is not a Christian state. Our population may have a Christian majority but this does not mean that EVERYONE is a Christian for that matter. There is no such thing in our constitution that says that we are a Christian state.

1. Because it can spread immorality disguised as "tv shows", "anime", and "whatever", IN AN INSTANT
2. Because it has many sites promoting atheism and makes no acknowledgement of God.
3. Because there are sites that promotes violence and immorality a lot, proving to be a threat to Filipino culture and values that are based on Christianity
4. Because there are sites that can make children violent, impulsive and go homosexual
5. Because computer, especially the internet, can stop people from going to church, reading the Bible and worst of all, it stops them from praying to God

so, why just Anime? Stop using the Internet and ban yourself from it TS..

Internet is worse than ANIME...
