According to Section 1 imperatives 5 & 6 of the ACM code:

Violation of copyrights, patents, trade secrets and the terms of license agreements is prohibited by law in most circumstances.Computing professionals are obligated to protect the integrity of intellectual property. Specifically, one must not take credit for other's ideas or work, even in cases where the work has not been explicitly protected by copyright, patent, etc.

Meaning kanang logo sa Y!ahoo gi-patent na sa ilang company...but what they did as part of the ACM professional... ila nang gi-suon ang pattern but the letter is A! pero klaro kaayo ang pattern and the object...
Therefore, nagviolate sila sa ilang gibuhat sa ACM Code
