hi-tech ang iphone tuod... but not to the extent that it greatly enhances it's capabilities. multi-touch, proximity sensor, accelerometer - no mms, no 3g, 2mp cam w/0 flash (a phone released at it's quarter, and it packages with a 2mp cam... i know its a phone and all and there's a dedicated digital camera for pictures but come on..), seems like through its "hi-tech" capabilities, it lost hold of the basics of making a practical, useable phone. (useable - pertaining to the ability of the phone to be maximized fully at the network it runs on) so, you can use 2 fingers to... use the photo management software? so it runs OSX, i think that's actually the problem.
the n95 carries the practical phone capabilities and couples it with so much more. ok, so it can't use multi-touch and our phones don't have proximity sensors. but what it can do is give you the comfort of a relatively large keypad, the practicality of a dual slide for multimedia functions. the tried and tested Symbian OS. Full sms capability(including mms), 3g, 5.0 Carl Zeiss camera, and the fact that even if you left your phone with your grandma, she'll know how to answer your call when you check on her. It also has an accelerometer, which in fact has been exploited so many ways including incorporation with the phone function, games control, etc.
para nako, ang iphone i-compare sa babae kay chix kau nya kapasar sa finals.
ang n95 kay chix lang pero ga-kandila ang grado... (san carlos na grado ha dili CIT)
the final verdict for me would be... kamo bahala oie aha inyo, kung kapalit mo ug kung tan-aw ninyo mas gamit ninyo, hala cge!! cguraduha lang na di mo magka-letse2x sa utang! nyahahaha!!!![]()

Can the iphone be used to manage webservers over SSH? yes. Can its browser be used for Content Management Systems? yes. Can you do FTP? yes. SFTP? yes. What other computer stuff can you do? install developer langauges and use them too like PHP, Ruby, JAVA. Does it have Flash lite 3? nope, but the real Flash player plugin is coming. Can you do emails? yes POP3, IMAP, SMTP. Can you do command line stuff? yes. I have linux, unix and mac filesystem experience can I use them on the iphone? certainly. The iPhone uses a similar filesystem. Can you send files? over wifi and ssh, no bluetooth though. Does it have a filemanager and other stuff? yes, you can install Finder, Preview, TextEdit, Terminal etc. I bought an iphone but it can't do any of those things? Well you are probably one of the few who never explore the iphones capabilities in which case you should have bought the N95. What attracted you to the iphone? build quality and the fact that it works for me.
The iPhone imho is more of a computer than the N95.

@ comicGeek:
thats preposterous!
more of a computer, but it cannot even recieve or send contacts, it can even recieve / send / edit word documents etc. can't even do wireless presentations and so on... hehehe it is more of a furniture assistant, it can serve as a good coaster or an ashtray. Web browsing? oh Opera's free on n95, what's the use of a file manager if i cannot send files? being a coaster is better for the iphone.
Its not only my opinion that says iphone is deficient, a lot of experts have similar views.
The iphone is an ipod with phone features hahaha I'd rather buy a Zune hehehe
@ Kabaw: htc touch? mas nindot ang dopod 838 pro oi.. hehehe
