so, we got 2 version of episode 95-96 now, one from AnimeOne and the other from ANBU, am I right?

As of this time and to my knowledge, only Anbu has released episodes 95-96. Since http://www.gotwoot.net/index.php#n_103: reported that "Expect 95-96 to be out soon.", I presume there will be two versions.

When the other AnimeOne comes out, could you guys give thoughts as to which version is better?

If you haven't found out already, ANBU has decided to terminate the joint with AONE concerning Naruto. ANBU usually doesn't comment on things, but since Naruto is such a popular show, we'll make an exception in this case.

Q: Why did you split up with AONE on the joint for Naruto?
A: Well, I suppose that's the biggest question that everyone has. A simple question, but one which doesn't have a simple answer. Let's start off with some facts. When we started out with Naruto, we worked with certain members from AONE. As time went on, some were replaced. However, in more recent episodes, the turnover rate increased dramatically. It came to a point where we wouldn't know who was timing, typesetting, and sometimes encoding a particular episode.... after the translation and editing had already been completed. I'm not exactly giving away anything, all you need to do is look at the credits for each episode and I'm sure you'll find the timing and typesetting credits changed a lot in more recent episodes.

This high turnover rate caused many miscommunications and went on until communication was, to put it bluntly, almost nonexistent. All this combined to cause a number of delays in the release of Naruto. Naruto release times began to fluctuate wildly. Sometimes coming out two or three days after airing, sometimes stretching out to seven days.

We at ANBU wanted more stability and felt this could no longer be achieved with AONE. Hence, we finally decided to terminate the joint with them. Our goal now is to provide a quality episode of Naruto in a reasonable amount of time. When you log on to our website or channel, we would like for you to see "Naruto episode xx released" at the same time of the day. We know how people love to get online, let's say on a Friday, and expect to see "Naruto episode xx released". We want people to say, "Hey, it's Friday! I need to go get Naruto now!" This is our goal.

(BTW , you have no idea how annoying it can be to see someone coming into the channel and asking, "Is Naruto XX out yet?" or just do a @find Naruto XX when a simple check of the topic/website shows the ep is obviously NOT out yet. It doesn't seem so bad until you factor in the fact thousands of people do this EVERY week. Week in and week out. If you're wondering why some of our rules and ops are so draconian, there's a start right there. Ah, but I digress.)

Also coming into play was the fact that AONE continues to sub series which are quite obviously licensed. Again, not giving away anything, one look at their projects is all you'll need to confirm this. While we feel they can sub whatever they wish to sub, the ANBU/AONE association has become so interlinked because of Naruto that we are sometimes confused as a single group. Under the circumstances, we felt it was better for all involved parties to have a clean break. That was a rather longwinded explanation, so I hope you got through it all.

Q: Will you continue to sub Naruto?
A: Well, with the release of episode 95-96, I guess that answers that question. That's the short answer. The long answer is that we will continue subbing Naruto until it gets licensed. Seeing as how Naruto could become a piece-meal license, we will continue subbing Naruto if a company announces only a partial license of Naruto. In that case, we'll ask that distribution of the licensed episodes cease immediately.

Q: Why?! For the love of God, WHY?!?! MY NARUTO FROM ANBU/AONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've always gotten my Naruto from ANBU/AONE! What'll I do now?!
A: Calm down, my friend. We'll do our utmost to bring you a quality episode each week. You can continue getting it from ANBU.

I wasn't offended. But I was a bit bugged. You started nitpicking at my theories instead of providing your own alternative theories.

You see. My theories not only stand by themselves, they also meshed with each other. They are like links in a chain or bricks in a wall. If one theory is weak, the rest is also weak.

To be honest, for me, no. For you, it will be problematic because a lot of what you think (your ideas, assumptions, theories, etc.) about Naruto goes against what happened in the story.

You haven't been sticking to the manga. You say you do but you have wrote contradictory statements.

That's really not my problem, and if I had known that you already have your own ideas about it - I wouldn't have posted my theory. I posted becaused you asked why.

That's not a theory we disagreed on. Note: You disagreed on Itachi being able to kill off his clan. You're going against canon fact. You kept saying it made no sense.

I, on the other hand, have been trying to make it more plausible for you to see how Itachi could have in fact and not so incredibly kill off his clan.

Fact is, I don’t theorize, unlike you. I’m the wait-and-see type of manga reader. The thing is, where Itachi is concerned there are a few ironies:

Facts:
1)Oro says Itachi is more powerful than him.
2)Itachi killed his clan in a single night (except Sasuke).
3)Itachi gained the Mangenkyou Sharingan.
4)Itachi is considered a genius at a very young age (graduated from the Academy at 6, and made ANBU at age 13). Note:I might be wrong in these numbers.

Confusing detail:
1)Itachi backs away from fighting Jiraiya even if the fight is two against 1 (Itachi with Kisame); the odds are favorable to Itachi and Kisame.
2)Itachi said that he needs to know the extent of his vessel, but he used the cover of night to kill off his clan.
3)He has Mange-Shanringan, which means he could use Tsukiyomi, but still he killed his clan using taijutsu.

These are all in the manga. I didn’t make these up. I wrote conflicting things because the manga has in itself confusing details.

Anyways, you sound as if you have all the right answers. What might be suitable explanation for you may not work for me. I already said in the beginning that I don’t think much of this kind of theory. That should have been warning enough. Also, by volunteering your theory, you should have been prepared for criticisms, positive and negative.

No no. We're taking about different kinds of techniques. Those techniques Neji uses. Kaiten? Closing chakra holes? Those are techniques you *can't* learn from dissecting a body. They have be taught, explained, demonstrated, shown, practiced.

Neji’s techniques using the byakugan are: Kaiten, the Heavenly Spin; Hakke, the 64-hit combo and the Gentle Fist; aside from enabling him to see almost 360 degrees around him (actually not a technique, but an ability).

As for bringing up Oro’s experiments: Isnt it more difficult to create something out of nothing than to recreate what you already know existed? Surely if Oro can create a jutsu for immortality from dead bodies, anything else is possible to gain from dead bodies: secrets of the clan, and yes, even techniques.

Of course I did, but in Naruto, very little is heard about them. Same in the real world, we're more interested in the best of the best.

Anyway, don't blame me for thinking small percentages. Since very early in the manga, there was an emphasis on how difficult it was to be a shinobi.

There are rankings. Sasuke was top of the class. Naruto was worst of the class. That's how it's done in real Japanese schools.

Very little is heard of the average/above average nins in Naruto? What do you call these genins: Shino, Chouji, Shika, Ino, Kiba, Sakura, Hinata, Tenten, Lee? I consider them average to above average genins. The only genius in the genin category are: Neji and Sasuke. And even Naruto can now be categorized in the above average class. How do you categorize these genins then?

Err... I don't know why you have to differentiate clannish from bloodlines.

Clan means family means bloodlines.

Remember that Itachi has the sharingan even without the Uchiha blood (Ch142-p13 Itachi said to Kakashi: “Your body is still suitable for the eye … but it does not contain any of our blood�.) What then can we deduce out of this? BL doesn’t necessarily mean because you’re related by blood and your clan has exclusive use of that technique, then its already a BL technique/ BL clan. BL or more aptly, advanced BL, are those that are not only blood-related, but also having a unique physical ability. This is what makes a BL clan.

Look at it this way, Sasuke and Neji can learn the other clan’s technique as they don’t have an inherent unique physical ability required of their technique. But all those other clans cannot learn the Hyuuga/Uchiha techniques because of the byakugan /sharingan requirement of those techniques. I think this a more detailed explanation of what I mean to say.

Ahh, it seems I made a mistake on that one. The Shintenshin no Jutsu done by projecting spiritual energy to the opponent, thereby taking control of their body for a limited amount of time. Thank you for reminding me.

Tsukiyomi – it’s the only jutsu that has the requirement of eye-to-eye contact for Sharingan. Otherwise, the sharingan can still be used to reveal the secret of a jutsu. Therefore, eye-to-eye contact is not really a requirement for sharingan users.

For Shino - it's not only his body and chakra, his clan has an understanding with those little critters. If it was anyone else, those bugs will kill em. Anyway, it's his body and chakra. It's very inherent.

Chou - of course he needs food. He needs energy. Uchiha and Hyuuga have to eat too… Chou - body. It's his body that's important. Not food. This is a very weak argument. Everyone ninja eats.

Shikamaru - the shadow is part of him. Anyway, it is written in a character book that those Shadow techniques are exclusive to the Nara clan…. And if you still want to argue about this, I will show you where it says that only the Nara clan can use Shadow techniques.

Come on yen. Shadow are NOT inherent to the body. If you go to a dark place, where’s the shadow then? Shadows are there only when there’s light. All of these things are external to the body.

Yes it is. Itachi once said that the Uchiha clan is the most powerful and feared clan of all. It can hardly be powerful and feared if only 3-5 people in the clan have activated their sharingan. And why use the term clan at all if that’s the case.

Another thing. You kept saying that Kage Bunshin is forbidden eventhough it's been used again and again and again by main good guy characters... It's such a useful technique too. If it can be learned by anyone with a shadow, it would be as commonly used as Kage Bunshin…. Err... you're stubborn. Even Vanceloma pointed out that the Third used Kage Bunshin.

It would also nicely explain why Naruto conjured up hundreds? thousands? of clones to beat up Mizuki.

I’m being stubborn coz I know I’m right on this one. See Samokan’s post, my previous post about Bunshin no Jutsu and Kage Bunshin no Jutsu is also available. There is no ordinary Kage Bunshin, but there is the ordinary Bunshin (Bunshin no Jutsu. I wont know if the translation is off coz I rely on it, but Kage Bunshin is the forbidden kind of Bunshin. Forbidden probably meant dangerous or something like that, but forbidden is the term that was used, so that’s what I used. Even if you create only a single clone, your chakra is immediately divided 50-50. Isnt that dangerous enough for you?

Also Naruto beat up Mizuki coz he managed to use the kyuubi’s chakra to create that many clones. That’s the only explanation.

? You're side-tracking. Kinoha definitely sanction nins who learn techniques that require killing fellow nins needlessly…

That headband they wear --- with the symbols. If there is a slash across it, that means that nin is an outcast and prime target for Hunter Nins.

Itachi's headband has a slash across it.

I’m side-tracking huh? Itachi left Konoha, he wasn’t exiled. And the head-band with a slash across the village symbols meant they are missing nins. It might be different from other missing nins, but Itachi definitely outcasted himself.

Just finished watching Anbu's version of Episode 95-96. It was great! . The three Saanins sluging it out. It was better than what I imagined from the manga

Tsunade-sama kicks Orochimaru's ass. She's is so strong that she was able to pin Manda using the katana ug Ganmabunta.

In the next episode though......was not included in the MANGA. So it's a must have copy. :mrgreen:

You're still not getting the whole point.

This was your original question.

It really is a wonder how Itachi killed the entirety of the Uchiha clan, which is to say killing the Leaf Police force in a single night, if using the Mangenkyo () Sharingan on 1 guy tires him (as it did Kakashi). It still doesnt make sense.

See what I mean about going against or challenging canon fact? You say it doesn't make sense?

Anyway, probably the only way to answer this kind of question is to theorize. Again, when you said this, I thought you would like some explanations.

I provided my theories but for my trouble, you just said something like "you don't think much of this theory." I.E. You must have something better in mind.

Again, if I had known you already had your own ideas, theories and opinions that should answer your own questions - I wouldn't have posted.

Of course, I expected challenges to theories but I also expect challengers to post their own theories. To challenge a theory, you have to counter challenge with your own theory not just nitpick at other people's theories.

Besides, your nitpicks haven't done in my theory. Note. I have been consistently defending on the dot everyday. Whereas your last reply was delayed by several days.

If you wish to continue, you have to answer your own question first with your own theory. I would like a counter theory.

This is the proper way. It is how it's done in the scientific community. If there is an established theory which is being challenged, the challenger is expected to present a better more plausible theory.

This is so because the best way to challenge or to prove wrong an old theory is to come up with a better new theory. And scientists always want the better explanation or theory.

This is also fair to me. If you can prove my theory incorrect, I can have another theory to replace it. Note, I won't claim your theory as my own or anything like that. I don't even claim my own theory. I'm sure other people have thought of it as well.

I just like to have answers rather than plotholes.
