Yes to Divorce Bill
No to Divorce Bill
I am with passing of the bill. It has its pros and cons but I believe it is high-time we have this in our country. With or without divorce daghan na man ang nagbuwag and living with another man/woman. Our times are changing and we should be up to it.
por dios por santo, palihug lang, ikatulo na ni na thread na akong nakit-an na title "Divorce Bill"
Divorce is not just against the law of God, it is also contrary to the 1987 Philippine Constitution...
"What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder." (Mark 10:9 RSV)
ARTICLE XV
Section 2. Marriage, as an inviolable social institution, is the foundation of the family and shall be protected by the State.
Inviolable - holy, sacred, UNBREAKABLE

ganahan ko naay divorce para maka file nako..
It is uncomfortable to know that we already have an alarming increase in the number of failed marriages; it is likewise true that sometimes it is better to put an end to the unhealthy relationship to save the individuals within that marriage. To say that passing on this bill will increase the number of failed marriages is plain funny. To say that with this bill in the work, the couple could opt not to save broken marriages is an exaggeration.
I understand that when this bill is applied as law, divorce will have to undergo a legal process. Is that correct? If so, is counselling included? Because AFAIK, divorce will only be the last resort.
Now, for the sake of discussion, what is the difference between annulment and divorce?
