    Mrbiddle,

who could that 3rd year student be? oh dear...he must be killed! ;p

I liked Binaliw for the fact that it had a great and very simple story and I like the great effort they placed into production (one whole school bowed to your bidding, Lorelei hehe) and the ending left me in awe. it deserved the award. very Realist

*@lorelei psst! ako nya bayad para advertisement ha? hehe di bitaw.

another thing, did anyone of you peepz took any summer film workshops at bigfoot?

my cousin works there for his OJT, i dont know what he works on really, but he says the equipment is top class and so are the instructors. thing is, its doesnt come cheap, he says most students there are young people, very young. rich and young learning film-making, how bout dat? hehehe. as for me, id rather spend my money for a camera than going to schools like this. the best way to teach yourself film-making is, what else... watching films. lots and lots of em. self-study pre and post production and then apply your influences.

    I didn't.......

cuz one of the filmmakers in this community informed me that BIGFOOT is impractical

sure they have the mofos who worked as crew on some blockbusters of the yesteryears and recent years, but if you ask yourself the question
What the fck am I gonna shoot with some FILM camera later on anyway?, in there your money is wasted

besides, taking up those workshops, you can gain some useful knowledge on FILM, right
    of course you can!

if BIGFOOT wasn't an expensive-assed workshop, and if I hadn't read a certain Robert Rodriguez article, then I would have been a poor victim right now

but i wouldn't worry about vanceloma....... he's rich, diba?

bigfoot is too expensive, but its a gud field to kick off!
you could start makin docu's, local music vidz, event ads, etc... we all start far down below,
make some shorts, then maybe mowelfund will see the potential of cebu's film industry.

cool, people speak highly of hm
dako nya atay sa imong other half hehe

    Mrbiddle
hey, I'm not rich, I work my ass off homey, pimpin' my way to the top dawg, buyin' me self some hydraulics to drag race fast and furiously, that's like whoa ya'll!

my friend told me that the workshop is almost an hour long advertisement for Mac.
"You'll use our equipments which you can only dream of....We will erode your soul."

the thing is they use macs. its impractical. sobra ka impractical. it also means that when they teach you editing, you'll have to conform to mac and final cut pro and that very expensive film plugin thingy... if they used a software for the pc, things would have been different. macs almost dont exist in cebu for crying out loud. hehehe. im not saying final cut pro sucks, it is one of the best mid-range editing progs out there, but they could have visualized first what goes on in the computers in cebu or the phils.
