master, unsa cpu block gamiton sa dry ice? same sa LN2?

  6. #326
wala man mi gamit ug cpu block...Core Contact Freezer ra w/ the intake fan connected to a flexi tube nga kanang sa car aircon btaw pero kadtong dako...then the other end didto sa closed bucket of dry ice...bali ang gi intake nga air was from the dry ice...modest ra nuon ang results...an E8600 oc'ed to 5.6GHz...mobo used was an XFX 780i...w/ Cellshock rams...Corsair HX1000 psu...inig balik adto akong migo from training we'll do it again properly...

regarding LN2...these processors can die @ -30 as they will at 120c...remember that Intel/AMD has designed them to operate at a certain temp range...if there are impurities or hairline cracks on the silicon substrate they will magnify/propagate when u subject them to out-of-spec temp cycle...

another alternative to liquid nitro is Peltier or TEC cooling...more affordable, easier to handle...can be run 24x7...readily available...naa sa Manila...

wa ko ka gets master....ako sabot basi above kay cool air from the dry ice ang gibuga sa fan towards sa core contact freezer? walay condensation sa copper tubing sa contact freezer?

if mao ni ako pagsabot murag qualified pa guro ni ug air cooling

yes u got it right...technically its still air cooling...the "gas/vapor" from dry ice is actually carbon dioxide... it is solid carbon dioxide and is converted directly into gas w/ out going through a liquid phase...this is called sublimation(knacks...Chem1 ni)...so walai condensation...

just don't eat dry ice...one of us did it...hehehehehe....kuyapan lagi...

...ok ra kaayo makuyapan basta adto lang mahapla atong nawng sa paahan sa mermaid hehe ayaw lang adto inbetween sa paahan kay basin ug matiwas hehe
