Of course, we would not want to experience the adverse effects of the US recession. Surely, not only their country will be affected. Many other countries will be affected.

If and when US recession happens, we should be prepared. And I'm glad the government is preparing for it. At least, we will not be left groping in the dark if such circumstance happens. I've read news on measures which the government is taking to further social services to the people. That would mean a more stable economy for us, despite US recession.

US consumers tend to cut spending thus worsening the situation

  8. #328
Yes, but you can't really blame them. When credit is frozen and interest rates are high.. who would want to go shopping.

When Wardelicious said about "Nag TIPID ang U.S." - I thinking that he's talking about the Government itself.

Probably Wardelicious is referring the government's next move to cost cutting in response to US financial crisis.

Well... so far the Govt. is not doing it. They're actually planning on injecting more $$ towards the banks. Funny thing is - the banks have already showed some hesitation to use those injected funds as loans. Pero They're thinking about hoarding the cash instead. And karon, as pero Bloomberg TV report earlier today, nga mao lagi - mo puno pa gyud sila ug funds.
