I hope this is not one of those tricky questions that often ends up in silly debates........But hey, I sense your sincerity in the question.
So first of, “Gambling” whether in word or in action is quite subjective and even philosophical....One can even claim that LIFE itself is already a gamble OR to invest in a particular BUSINESS with uncertainty is already a form of gambling.
Now if you are referring to the typical GAMBLING that we see in the casinos, jueteng, LOTTO, etc whether this is a sin or not …..I tell you this –In a Christian's point of view, any conscious action OR inaction of a person with sound mature mind, if it leads him/her away from what is morally good is already a SIN ….Furthermore, any deliberate action or inaction of a person with sound mature mind that leads OTHERS away from what is morally good can already be considered a SIN.
And so, that is why IT(gambling) can be subjective depending upon a particular situation..
Sample situations (but not limited to):
Having a friendly gamble with your brother for a few bucks or a non-expensive lunch treat on the upcoming Paquiao-Marquez fight can't be considered MORALLY BAD (considering BOTH of you are VERY capable of covering for the expenses using CLEAN money)..and pasabot nako sa CLEAN money kay kanang inyoha gyud kaugalingong hinaguang kwarta gikan sa legal nga paagi . DILI kwarta sa hangin o kwartang hinagoan sa inyong ginikanan o sa ubang tawo o kwarta nga gikan sa illegal nga paagi.
The situation mentioned above is distinctly different than gambling every weekends in the local SABONGAN sa manok using your hard earned meager money that is/was supposedly intended to provide for you and your family's basic needs (food/shelter/clothing/medicine , etc) or to pay for your child's educational expenses .....samot kabati kun mangawat na lang para gyud maka sugal.....Now this is considered MORALLY BAD even if the outcome of the gamble is victory.
Ang stand sa Roman Catholc ChurchAnything that leads to sin is a NO NO

Question:
Nganong wala man labot ang "Mother" (Mama Mary) sa sign of the cross? (In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit)...??
Diba dapat apil unta ang "Mother" ana kay usually adto gud ta dagan sa ato mama kung naa ta problem or kung masakit tah..
Good day bro.....The way we (Roman Catholics) do the Trinitarian formula of the cross is largely based on this bible verse:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19)
Although we (Roman Catholic) also accept that the Blessed Virgin Mary plays a very important role in the salvation of mankind (the 4 Marian Dogmas proves that). But still she is NOT equal to GOD the Almighty (Father,Son,Holy Spirit) the Creator of all.![]()
Dinhi nato makita, bro, nga dili binuang o tinonto kanang pagpanguros. Wala na gi-practice aron imong mahinumdoman unsa ang tawag sa member sa imong family (father, son, mother, etc...). Para sa mga kristyanos, specific ang meaning anang cross.
Sa binisaya pa:1 Corinthians 1:18
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
Ang pangutana:Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the NAME of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
3 man diay ni ka pangalan unya nganong ang gigamit singular object man (NAME), dili man plural (NAMES)?
Tungod kay USA ra ni sila.
1 John 5:7
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
