The more i read the responses of the istoryans, the more enlightened i am to know that many have the will to do better for the country.

Even with such a corrupt government, i am glad to see that there are many optimistic individuals who are willing and active for improvement and change.

    ^^exactly!

We cannot force the government to change. Many people complain, then what? nothing happens.

But we as people, have all the will and freedom to contribute and aid CHANGE. Stop waiting and start moving.

It's total nonsense not to hire people when they age 40, as what the local employers do!

Changing the constitution would be the best answer, as it would allow more foreign investors to do business in the country, and furthermore, would have full ownership and not that 60-40 crap! It's too much seeing these local employers get rich!

People don't need change. It's their instinct to find for jobs to live, otherwise, they'll starve. What the government should do, is to welcome more job opportunities. BASICALLY THAT'S THE PRIMARY OBLIGATION OF THE STATE!

What do you want? Let the people do the welcoming of the foreign investors?! PUH-LEASE!

We may not be able to change the government now - but we can change the future. ALL WE NEED TO DO IS START MOVING and STOP WAITING.

You're talking about rank and file positions bro. But yes, sadly, this is true.

This also true. The real estate market would benefit from this.

It's called micromanaging, bro, that has nothing to do with "people changing". A system requires some human intervention and tweaking where needed.

There are some things you change in the bigger picture and something you change from the smaller scale. but grabe napud na imo gisulti na "people don't need change". Kung ang Pinoy pataka ug pangihi ug labay ug basura, are you going to tell me that doesn't need changing?

If people jaywalk, violate traffic rules do you expect the gov't to do the changing for them? Kai kung mao na imo gusto bro pwede ka nila pusilon if nag overspeed. You know what they're like!

Obviously mark, as to your question, "you" need to change. change your attitude. don't laugh at others opinion. if you can think deep and you like to, try to do it. I'm sure you will find the answer and the answer will absolutely be the "people" who has to change.

if you want to counter or refute this, please make a valid argument.

Like what many of the istoryans are saying - the government will not change over night.

if u want it to change so much, then AID the change! Start from the smallest stepping stone and help change to unfold along the generations.

    BE POSITIVE AND REALISTIC
Being realistic, I am. But optimistic in the middle of this bullcrap? The government's too much! Injustice, corruption, and to add, no clear plans for the improvement of PAG-ASA. We might as well rely in the international weather bureau coz they provide accurate forecasting, unlike what PAGASA is doing.

They're wasting the country's resources! Financial resources.

By moving what do you mean? What do you think can you do, as an ORDINARY CITIZEN of this country, for the betterment of the Philippines?

Abide the rules? Adhere to the laws?

Would the abiding make a difference and give the poor food to their table? NO! That's what I'm saying. The government should do its obligation to provide job opportunities! We pay the taxes, now the government should welcome foreign investors and please, the government should amend the constitution prohibiting these foreign investors full ownership of their business.

NOW THAT WILL MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE!
