I had drinks with my friends last night. And LOVE has always been the staple of every drinking sessions, right? Then I became the hotseat since most of my friends are married and have gfs/bfs. They have all these conclusions that I'm too picky, too much of a workaholic and even too good -- all these reasons why I am still single.

What didn't sit well on me is the last remark,

Anyway, I was reminded by this thread of mine when
I watched Rico Yan and Claudine Barreto's flick, Got
2 Believe and there's this character played by Dominic
O'Choa who was so NICE that never got mad or take
offense of the people who wronged him... Then Claudine
who was his fiancé broke up with him for another guy.

It dawned on me that not all NICE peeps can have their
own version of a fairy tale in any given relationship.
There's always the person's choice to consider as to
which guy she wants to end up with.

sis remember that real world is totally far different from movie scenes...in order for a relationship to work both parties must do their role respectively...gradual changes might occurs in between love cycles.

a far cry from reality but sometimes they
mimic life's experiences aite?

I just used that movie as point of reference
to imply that that flick reminded me of this
thread and in a way the character is similar
to some who didn't get to be picked by the
person he is into...

I agree with your statement that a long lasting
relationship will only exist once both parties
are working it out. That's always the case
