If you're on a budget, in a hurry, or not religious, then civil ka.
But a church wedding can also be practical - just make do with what's important to the both of you, a celebration doesn't have to be frivolous or bongga; a wedding is about being with the people important to you witnessing your commitment to your husband or wife.

As long as you marry at the right time and with the right person for you, then either way is ok. It's the marriage that's important.
