Wala may nakiglalis, its just a question of truth and reality.
If your claim that its just a tradition then it follows you admit that its not 3 Kings but magi or wise men.
If that is the case then the topic is clear.

I have nothing personal against with the catholics because you catholics are people nice to work with, good to be barkadas and catholics are easy to deal with. The problem is in this kind of topic its hard to accept what the bible says. Either you'll accept it or not the bible still stay as the same.

I didn't take the bible by verse alone and dili putol-putol. I've just quoted it where the point is in order to show it.
In this kind of medium I can't post all the scriptures, but rather give the point only. This conversation is a long way to go.
Let's keep ut this way, give your side and I'll give mine. I'm not expecting that you'll believed and accept it rather I expect it the other way.
But God give us heart and mind to choose and accept what is Good. God will call in a certain time.
That's my hope i feel about discussing here, if it will not work at least nice try and all of us here at this forum give our best.

^^in my previous post, nag mention man ko nga ang magi mao na ang among gipasabot nga 3 kings...mu title man gali gihapon mi ug 3 wisemen....d ba? my point here is..3 kings, magi and wisemen are the same...lahi lahi lang ang terms gigamit....same ra na cya sa word for example "BIRD", in tagalog ibon, n bisaya langgam, n bicol lain pud name, n waray lain pud ang term...sa mga katolko wen we say 3 kings....universal understanding namu they are the magi in the bible..amu lang sila gitawag ug kings...

What i mean by Holy Tradition = things that were belived happened by the early church , first christians as part of the catholic faith, ang pagtawag sa 3 kings ug ang iyang pag celebrate dugay na kaayo nahitabo...

That's your own opinion.
But I've just posted the verse, and about the technology even its increasing the word of God is still the same.
You can't find the words we used today or linggo in the bible but the essence, idea and principle is there.
That's the danger in changing it in order to coupe in this time.
The bible is full of warnings about this.

Tell me my friend what are the words in the bible that we need to change in order to coupe up with our technology or present time?
Or give me a source from catholic scholars and even with you.
Let's talk about this, that's why many became astray because they rely on their own teaching and own understanding. The Bible must be understand with the understanding given by God.

But not 3, its prohibited in the bible to add or delete even a comma or period in his words.
NOt unless you will publish another bible and replaced it as 3 Kings. That's why book of Cathecism and Catholic Encyclopedia was made in order to have proof in your claim because it can't be found in the bible even the essence.

Yes its a tradition but how come it wasn't mentioned in the bible?
As what Christ said before he ascended to heaven that ...teach them to do all the things I have commanded..Matthew 28:19-20.

That's why I will quote the bible for you to see if I'm telling the truth or not.
The bible is our guide. It's like this if you're going to say that you're a 5 feet 10 inches tall then in order for me to be sure we will use the tape measure or any measurement then the actual or truth will be known.
That's how it related to the bible, if you have preached it then let the bible measures if it was really there and commanded by God and Christ.

if your basis is the bible, magka-uyon ta with this topic, but sa tradition... i think di gyud.
remember the basis of the christian faith is the BIBLE not the tradition...tradition is only made by early churches...then the bible is the book inspired by God....if you read the bible with the guidance of the holy spirit, you will see the difference.
some of the tradition is contrary to the bible.

^^ in my last post...i mentioned nga tradition na NAMU ..ur rite..it should not be qustioned kay tradition lagi..but RCRUMAN kip on insisting nga dili pwede kay wala nakasulat sa Bible..do you think it is right to say that?
