What do Atheists do during December 25?

As an atheist i spend christmas and new year holidays just like an ordinary nominal christian. I have no problem attending simbang gabi with my catholic relatives or with my immediate family na mga born again evangelicals. It doesn't make me less of an atheist. Being free from religion makes me a more tolerant person. Just don't force your belief down my throat.

This is a wake up call to all christians who are still inclined into believing na kamo lang ang naay exclusive right na mu celebrate sa December 25 padung January 1. You cannot put christmas in the same league as the ramadan of the muslims which is a religious holiday. Christmas is a CIVIL HOLIDAY in many of the world's nations, and is celebrated by an increasing number of non-Christians including atheists/agnostics.

If asked, I too attend religious ceremonies, but only out of respect for relatives, and it doesn't take away from my being an atheist. It's the same thing if you have a friend from another religion that you're very close to, and that friend asked you to attend their church service--it doesn't mean you've been converted, you merely granted the wish of your friend to attend that event. Just like how I do eat the food at the table during Noche Buena--that's food, it replenishes the body with energy, regardless if some messiah was born on that day or not
