the mets didnt make it to the playoffs for losing the last game of the season. thats bad luck right there.

Great win for the Giants... a lot of people ruled them out right after they played the Bucs. They were big underdogs against the Cowboys, Packers, and Patriots. I now have newfound respect on Eli Manning. The composure he showed during the last possession... seemed like it was Brett Farve out there doing his typical 2 minute drill. Great execution on that last drive.

Tyree's catch was amazing but that was after Eli got out of that line of scrimmage (which I thought he was done gonna be sacked and done for). Then it was Smith, the rookie, who caught the pass and was aware enough to get out of bound on the first down marker. The pass TD to Buress was so simple and routine.... a floater to the open receiver. It was so textbook - Eli made it seem so easy.

... Again, major props to ELI .. I never pictured him to be one of the big boys like Favre, Payton, and Brady... not even Romo. He proved me wrong today. I am not a Giants fan mainly because I hate Jeremy Shockey (although I live in Manhattan, New York and Tiki Barber is actually lives right across from me) but I may have a change of heart after this season.

bro of course when you blits the opposing team goes after the qb and breakin the offensive line.
In the 4th quarter and towards the end the pats blitz were so effective.
manning always fumbled the ball in two instances when when he was tackled. running away from the blitz

Pagka structure man gud sa imong statement, you were talking about the Giants' defense and saying something about surviving the Blitz.. I thought you meant that their defense survived the blitz (which didn't make any sense).... ....just pointed that out.

At the fourth quarter.. it's not much about the blitzing really but the pass rush. The PATS backs and safetys were too occupied defending Toomer, Buress, and Smith. Pats defense did well to keep Eli under pressure BUT Eli kept his composure while inside the pocket.. except for one instance when he forced to throw the ball and was almost intercepted.
