International Airport in Panglao, Bohol?

They deserve to have one since Secretary of tourism declare Bohol as major tourist destination. Boholanus are famous of being friendly and hospitable and safe place to have your vacation esp. for a foreigner.

your arguement deserves to be mention in world travel magazines.........Brilliant IDEA.... How to stop tourist from going to boracay..... so people will look for another place......

And your example.... how many people go to that island..... compared to boracay......

lets say 1 flight everyhour taking off and landing in boracay.... GREAT IDEAS......

the spots i have mentioned, actually, take in quite a good number of guests. great keppel and fraser islands wouldn't have the added number of visitors if not for the availability of on-site landing areas.

honestly, i don't think the general public mind at all. if you can spare yourself some time, do some research with the beaches on the east coast of australia. you will find that packed beaches particularly in sydney, gold coast, brisbane, & cairns are directly within the vicinity of high-capacity aircraft flight paths.

Hey hey hey, its not an international airport as u think. its only an airport with international standards.. The existing tagb airport is no longer capable of accomodating larger airplanes like the AIRBUS and the existing runway cannot be extended of expanded because it is heavily populated.

as what ive said earlier, the existing runway can no longer accomodate larger airplanes and expanding it is no longer an option considering that the area around the runway is heavily populated.just recently, PAL stopped their operations for tagb mnla route 'cause PAL has upgraded their planes to AIRBUS which is bigger and could not be accomodated by the existing runway.good thing is that the mayor and the governor has convinced PAL to utilize their existing planes so as not to affect the tourism industry of the province.By the way, the airport is 1 of the GMA's priority projects. blame it to her if this will realize.

improving or relocating the existing aiport and its facilities is good. however, building one that is not needed is a waste.

What would an AIRBUS do in Bohol? aircrafts as big as an airbus does not catters to passengers alone, mas mokita sila ug dako sa cargoes. So don't expect airline companies would fly that kind of airplane to Bohol. Unsay ikarga nila didto, LATIK?
