Please note everyone that residential ADSL connections provided by ISP does not have CIR or guaranteed bandwidth. This would mean that if you have a 384kbps link, your link will play below or above this value. If you experience disconnection too often, you report this to your ISP for for appropriate action.
As much as they want to serve us best, the ratio of their after-sales support is not 1:1. That is why response would take days. But if it would that weeks, then its already a different story.
As per experience, most of the business networks that i've worked with, they would go for 2 DSL subscription and do a load sharing w/ failover.
