i can vouch that it's every members dream to be one, though few are chosen for such a prestigious calling hehe.. i myself am hoping to be.. but i know i've got a lot a rice to eat (sa binisaya pa daghan pakong bugas na kaonon!) but how knows maybe on of these days..

prestegious calling? saunz! we're just ordinary people give the task of regulating the goings-on in the forum.we have to read all posts and make sure that everything is within the rules of the forum, we also have to put up with a few people who have a unique view on what they can or can't do in a forum it's fun I admit, but there are times when it just gets under your skin.

well, bert, one will never know what the future holds...basin pa diay ikaw ang ma pili na bag-o na mod sa istorya. Just keep on posting and make sure to follow the rules of istorya.... :mrgreen:

BeoR, and the rest of the moderators/members can help decide..
its not something like graduating room a bachelors degree or morag module imong completohon..

anyway, im not so much keen on becoming a moderator bec. i don't have the luxury to be online most of the time. i mean, i can only be online for a couple of hours, during working days.so that means, whenever im on istorya im at work.i can finish my workload in 4 hrs., do extra stuff for 2 hrs. then its 2 hrs. for istorya..will that be enough? and normally, staring at a monitor makes my mind go blank..

But i do salute the moderators here. :2thumbs: Not only that they do check the sense out of you but they can also put to words those long lost thoughts that u can only dream u can do so yourself .[/size]

BTW, you do not need to spend hours on end on istorya.net to be a moderator although a lot of mods do visit the site more often than most. I personally visit the site because my life is on the computer ... job and most of the little personal life that I have. What being a moderator boils down to is ... your ability to follow the rules, and your own "professional judgement". Mods aren't better than the rest of the population, although we would like to think so ... but thank you for the salute.

difinitely viz... reggie and i, and 4 others(from AMA) joined iSTORYA in 2002. and i was inactive for almost 2 years due to some circumstances beyond my control. but i learned sumthin from it though i only went for a few months. and like them i also wanted to be a moderator of this site.

coz having mods around keeps everybody updated and *disciplined*. and i think it's cool to be. i admit... i wanted to be a moderator at that time coz i thought it'll give me the feeling that i am special... and authority within the site. full access.(binata pa man gud to nga rason)

and so i became inactive... then logd regularly just this year. i am online 24/7. i can post whenever i chose to. but i was so *damned* surprised when i came back... ummm... lots of new members. and i can only recognize a few of them.(master beor, galadriel, reggiebuang ,etc.)

i thought master beor must need a troop of mods for this... and off they went(pero dili cla daghan ha?)... mods explaining..mods correcting...mods inserting... mods guiding...

whew! DAGHAN KAAYO CLA RESPONSIBILIDAD!!!
and it must take a lot to do that.
i learned so much thru their help.(of mods, that is) and now my very own friend is one of them.

but being just a member is cool. coz iSTORYA.net is for everybody. it is a family. u dont hav to be a mod... coz u are already special for being a part of this family.

live life the fun way(*with sense*)... grow up here.
coz iSTORYA.net is more than just talk. and not just for mods.
its for everybody.
