Sir, that new guy u mentioned as the new referee? is an experienced Martial Artist, very qualified indeed to be a referee in an MMA fight. He has competed in URCC a few years ago and was into MMA and still training some guys who are competing in MMA until now, the person is very active also, although he might look new to you? but not to us. lets give him time to polish his moves in the ring, that decision about RYAN was his call. he was watching Ryan's eyes and then wen he noticed that Ryan can not intelligently defend himself cause of the mount?...he stopped the fight...

question : what is "MOUNTAIN" you are mentioning?

clarification : for ur info, I think u are trying to say...MOUNT...MOUNTED...MOUNTING...for the non-initiated u might be hearing it differently, it is not MOUNTAIN my bros...

nobody is perfect, THIS I WOULD AGREE...but we strive to be perfect in order to IMPLEMENT THE RULES PROPERLY. OUR MAIN CONCERN IN THIS SPORT IS THE SAFETY OF THE FIGHTERS if u do not notice it is our PRIORITY.

Sir thels, WE BOTH LOVE THIS GAME...we both watch UFC, PRIDE too...but it is very different when u have PROPER TRAINING in this SPORT and different also when u compete...it is more different if YOU are assigned to be a REFEREE in this sport...if u do not have the proper training and knowledge in the INTRICACIES of this sport? then, then I say...never be a referee in an MMA FIGHT...

in ULTIMATE SUBMISSION FIGHTING in short USF...we go back to the basics...WE TRAIN, WE HAVE SEMINARS, WE DO REGULAR RULES AND REGULATIONS DISCUSSIONS...we TRAIN OURSELVES again and again...to be BETTER REFEREES...

that tall guy u mentioned is my Senior, he is a FORMER SWAT MEMBER, an active POLICEMAN and A GREAT MARTIAL ARTIST TOO...as u say he is QUALIFIED...yet he also makes mistakes...yet I PRAISE U FOR saying such GOOD words for our group...the guy with BIG GLASSES?...well...I dont think I am that QUALIFIED...hehehe(pun intended) lets just say...I got EXPERIENCE too...but I AM NOT BETTER than ANY REFEREE out there and no BODY is BETTER than anybody in being a referee...NOT EVEN BIG JOHN McCarthy is better than anyone...we just know our priority, TO BE FAIR AND TO BE ALWAYS IN THE MIDDLE, NEVER TAKE SIDES AND SAFETY FOR THE FIGHTERS IS A MUST. :mrgreen:

im not an an expert in refereeing these kind of fight. but im a practitioner and an avid fan of MMA also.
althoug ive referred several grappling and stand up matches.
the latest G&P is improving too! referees are getting better,

what ive said about the referee in the past, i think i am reffering to the referee shown in the picture you post. if im not mistaken hes RIchard Tan right?

i think waht thels is referring is that the blond guy on the mount position when the referee let them stand up
yes that also, he is already in control there, why the referee let them stand up?
in my own opinion if you are in the mount position in grappling, you are in control and dominating. :mrgreen:

hehehe Sir, c aku na c Richard Seno Tan and Chad is my nickname...LIONHEART aku callsign sa AIRSOFT COMMUNITY...Sir sori kaayo, wala man ko kasabot sa imung 1st and 2nd statement...dili lang naku na e address kay basin aku ang nasayup ug basa and that ang akung comprehension sa imung gesulat basin nasayup ko...although sa imung pag ka pranka sa imung pagsulat Sir dawaton na naku...in case sa being Referee?...I am not admitting in this forum or in person na maayo ko, diba?...I am learning and trying to improve everyday...in MARTIAL ARTS?...ive stopped training na...nabuang man kog airsoft...heheheh Sir kung naa kay ikasulti? please ayaw ka owaw...let it go para pud maka kuha kog idea and that ma improve pud ang amung promotion and by and by amung mga referees will also get BETTER AND BETTER...

if in case?...dili pud naku ma address dayun ni ang REFEREES DISCRETION pag pa stand up sa fighters, resetting the fight to a stand up fight bisan naka MOUNT na ang usa..."RESETTING THE FIGHT TO STAND UP FIGHT"...dili kaayo taas pag explain but then again, REFEREES DISCRETION...I will invite u all guys here later on when ever naa mi Seminars on our referees and fighters...we do dis from time to time to instill in their minds the intricacies of the rules of the fight...constant polishing and seminars is wat we do so that our referees will get better and better...but bisan unsaon nato pag ka better?...humans make mistakes...but? EXPERIENCE will be there to guide US in our decisions in the ring...

I hope naa koy na share ninyo na gamay lang na insight...dili kaayo naku ma address tanan na queries...MAS NINDOT man gud kung personal pag explain, coz kinahanglan pud nato E DEMONSTRATE sa mga taw ug unsaon and then right then and there U ASK ME QUESTIONS...para naay Clarity ba...kani na forum, gamay rajud ang akung ma share ninyo kay kapuy na ug type...hehehe sori guys...

helo Sir abuot, thank u very much for the support Sir...hoping to meet some of u guys in person...I know some of u here are real life martial artist...maybe some of u guys here are interested to become referees in the future?...I will give invites wen ever MY BROTHERS decide that we will let someone from outside to help us in facilitating our event...for now?...we use our own EXPERIENCED former fighters...thanks again for the support...

@ thels, hehehe we learn everyday Sir?...aku pud, I do admit masayup pud tag paminaw usahay...cge lang gud...ana jud na ang life...we all make mistakes...aku gani Sir, dili paman jud kaayo ko proficient sa GROUND FIGHTING...kamao lang ko gamay...then again, I am still LEARNING...naa naman mga Cebuanos naka duwa sa URCC...c CARY BULLOS diay? sa Selfdef...ISTUDYANTE mana cya ni Kuya Ryan Solana...nag buhat sila ila gym later on...and Cary Bullos is an excellent specimen for the MMA competition...naka dungog man gani mi na naka daog cya sa URCC just lately...suod pud baya unta mi nila sauna...ambot unsay nahitabo na nabungkag mi...mingaw naku ato nila...dungan gud mi ug train nila sauna...naa lang jud cguro nag sul-sul sa sitwasyun...I HOPE magka balik ug amigo pami ato nila...although wala man mi nila mag away...NAGKA HIOBSANAY lang...
