wifi is great on hotspots. Outside this zone or hotspots with pay per use, wifi is dead.
I use my 3G to connect to my laptop and surf the net at 384kbps @ Php10/30min sa probinsya basta naa lang signal ang smart. This is what you call portable internet anywhere around the Philippines with Smart signal. One more thing, our DSL line is not up and running 24/7 sometimes it bugs down, so my handy 3G is a backup internet line as well.
So, that's why I purchased a Pocket PC Phone which supports both wifi and 3G.
same here...when in times that you find the need 4 it, its a great feeling having it ready...Originally Posted by jiggs

if you have the money exclusive for that purpose then go for it. but, if you dont have milk anymore for your children or putlanan ug kurente then better not, hehe
@bosing mark,; motuli ka ug N6680 vodafone 702nk II?..pila mansad pangayo bossing mark?..
based on experience, 3G is only fun on the first use or the na-bag-uhan stage. countless calls after, 3g became useless
It depends on your need for data and connection to the internet. If you don't need fast internet connection and the applications that go with it while your on the move, you can actually do away with 3G. Anyways, if you are patient enough you can still browse thru the net using GPRS/EDGE w/ a 2G phone.
You mean video calls? 3G not only for video calls bro. not totally useless. but since you are using only for video calls, then for u, it is useless..Originally Posted by more than just talk
