ey. musta namo? Eric Olavides? ive read about him sa website ng doce ocampo. pero honestly dili ko familiar with other styles of arnis.familiar ko sa balintawak ug illustrisimo and cinco teros.kay gitudluan pud mi gamay sa among master para dili mi ignorant.sa davao man gud dili pa kaayo accepted ang arnis.well at least karon medyo aware na ang people didto. With GM Maranga i knew about him cuz si late GM Lema(founder namo LSAI) played with him at a tournament here in cebu.pero dugay na to.di pa cguro ko buhi. c",

yes thats true kali is simple if you think about it. principles man gud ginatudlo dili technique.well yes sa start sa training technique sa pag kuha na ang technique eventually you realize the prinicples involved in it.mao na you can translate your moves using a wide range of objects to become a weapon and kung wala jud ka makitan(which i think is impossible) you could use your hands.

tinuod sad na 2-4 strike combination ra kinahanglan to defeat an opponent or at least give you a chance to run for your life c",

the smaller number of moves, choice of specific areas of the body for maximum damage and speed of attack ra gyud makasave nimo.

that's what is good with Kali because you start your training with weapons, which are longer than the reach of hand(unarmed fighter) and can inflict maximum damage as opposed to empty hand(alangan kung knife or ballpen gamiton mas dako jud damage).

with weapon based training you become faster(length of stick faster speed as opposed to empty hand), with your eye, speed of movement, and reaction time (forced to ka kay kabalo ka sakit)

actually ang goal nako with Kali is more on Cultural Preservation and instilling National Pride sa atong people.

hehe noble ra kaayo no?pero mao jud ang thrust sa among organization(mandirigmang kaliradman)
