Cheap and practical is not an accepted excuse to use pirated softwares for internet cafes.
I don't know of any Philippine law that requires Internet cafe owners to register their DVD/CD-RW burners with the OMB (then again, IANAL). They're just being complete asshats again. Someone should check on this. Are they requiring the cafes to pay some fee to register their optical drives?

bro may ni raid na bah d2 sa cbu?
since sa mga raid2x sa cafe's... naka notice baya ko more and more people are starting to use original software... even for private homes lang.. i think naa nani sa Cebu kai ang cafe that i usually standby before was closed twice because they had to uninstall their pirated games...now that cafe has all original softwares...
kung against piracy wala koy problema ana... pang dakpa na. but hasta dvd writing? blank dvds? agoroy!!!! I have the right to back up my files. Unsa man apilon pa ninyo diskette? lapis? papel? ballpen? hahahaha pwede man ta mangopya og libro ani unsa naman ni oi? xerox machine? binuang ni! kanang ma igo aning dakop sa dvd and cd writers (as long as wala ninyo gi gamit sa daotan) contact me ato ni e kiha ning mga boanga (75% ako 25% inyo sa kwarta ato makuha)
OMB suway lang sulod diri amoa ay... wala raba mo proper warrants... pusilon gyud tamo unya ako pa mukiha ninyo... murag inatubangay mani na tulis.. tsk tsk tsk remember there should be 2 warrants. one for getting inside your premises and one for inspecting your PC and so far kanang confiscation sa writers illegal gyud na siya.
nganu man laboton nila hasta ang cd/dvd writing? Its useless bulls%$t! Ma control diay nila ang piracy kung butangan og license ang mga cd/dvd writers? pagka! I G N O R A N T E gyd sa OMB.
You need to register the blank disks also ?? that made me lol iRL
