If you see McGregor's fight, he put Nate Diaz down 2 or 3 times with his left fist. So definitely he can box and he has power, so if he can get that one clear shot at Floyd it will be the end of his unbeaten career plus Floyd is always having difficulties with lefties. Floyd's quickness and defense is now being questioned, he was out for 2 years and he himself said that he is not the same anymore as he was 2 or more years ago. We will see whats the outcome this Aug 26.

Conventional wisdom would point to an easy Floyd victory on the basis of experience; McGregor has no boxing experience. This is the consensus in the boxing community. But I change my mind about McGregor's chances from zero to 40% for 2 reasons: 1) Floyd is turning 41 and 2) It's quite intimidating to face a foe whom you know can easily kill you if there were no referees. I still favor Floyd to win, but I won't be shock if McGregor knocks him out. If fact, if that happens, I'd be laughing. It's like karma came and bit Floyd for being too greedy and for all the abuses against women he committed in the past.

This fight will demonstrate how martial arts, developed through centuries as a life-and-death combat skill, can deal with boxing which evolved only for a few decades as an entertainment sport. I think all those who mocked and laughed at Conor McGregor since this fight was announced will have a rude awakening on the 26th. This is no cake walk for Floyd. He will find himself in a life-and-death battle from the opening bell.

I give Floyd 60% chance to beat Conor by decision, but this will be close. This is not going to be an easy fight. Conor is a master in multiple martial arts. He's an alpha male in the UFC. There are nuances in the art of punching when you talk about karate and tae kwon do that can blindside a seasoned boxer...especially considering that a 41-year old man's reflexes is not that quick. I'm excited to see this demonstration and I hope Conor knocks him out.

If I'm wrong, hats off to Floyd. For his history of domestic abuse cases against women and his defamation of Pacquiao, oh yeah, I'd love to see this guy humbled for once in his life. I think Floyd got greedy here, coming out of retirement and underestimating this deadly guy.
