This is one reason why I stayed quiet and unalarmed.

I have my passbook. So if mawala ako kwarta didto, bayad gyud sila and I can show my passbook to them to prove my account and the balance in it. I rarely use my debit and I don't have a credit card so what's printed on my passbook is absolutely definite and accurate.

But on the conspiracy side of things, one poster is probably correct at politicians forcing BPI to wipe out their account(s) which will be deemed VERY suspicious right away in light of this Marawi crisis. Funny how they used this bank instead of PNB - where they can adumbrate any illicit and prohibited transactions w/o fear of being caught.

True. And even if walay passbook, if they claim nag withdraw then ask them for CCTV proof na nag withdraw ka on that day. If mag panic diritso, ma ending kay possible ma ilad ra daun sa mga scammers na ning take advantage sa confusion.

Possible dyod na. Anything is possible. For now lng dili lng ko mu speculate. I'll leave that sa yellows na maghimo ug consipracy theories regarding current admin and martial law. hahaha.
