i read this somewhere lang ha, a few months back (forgot the link)

Intel - procs that (most) software is made to be compatible to
AMD - procs that are made to be compatible to the software (that were made to be compatible to Intel procs)

on another view, i haven't read any article but the reason that Apple shifted to Intel instead of AMD from PPC should be good enough for the content/media creators and ordinary users to choose Intel as well.

It depends kung unsa ang applications mo dagan sa imong PC but if your looking for speed alone try to check other features of the CPU if it has improvement on Disk I/O, Network I/O, Check capacity and cached also check if it can support virtualization.

hmmm again it depends on the usage , but for this time .. ceej has switched to Intel ... (at this time lang sa siguro) , we are both AMD Fan boyz .. hehehe but we try intel for now ... Intel's C2D beats the X2 series.

INTEL for multi-tasking, longer hours usage, stable, etc. mostly common used for call centers.

AMD for gamming... lang.
